About Sarina

Hi, I’m Sarina. I believe we have the tools to take care of ourselves already inside us waiting to be used. Through the practices of yoga, I lovingly offer a way for us to tend to all layers of ourselves.
I came to yoga through a fitness-based practice in my early 20s. Through life’s twists and turns, my practice grew deeper and I began to appreciate the benefits yoga had on my mental health, my self-assuredness, and my connection to others. In March of 2020 I enrolled in a training under Juko Holiday, Ph.D. to become a Yoga Therapist with a focus on mental health. What better time to practice what I was learning than to live to through the rise of a pandemic, quarantine, distance learning, a social justice movement, wildfires, and all the other challenges of that time. Through it all, my yoga practice kept me steady and allowed me to show up for myself and those around me. I am honored to be in a place where I can share these practices with others. We all need more love and peace in our lives.
I have completed 200-hr yoga teacher training with Kenny Graham through Pleasure Point Yoga and 825-hour yoga therapy training under Dr. Juko Holiday at Ease Mountain Yoga.
I do my best to teach through an accessible, gentle, and trauma-informed lens. My deepest hope is to create and foster a space in the studio and inside of each of us where we feel brave enough to honor our truest selves. Questions? Ask me! Want more information? Hit me up.
On a personal note, I am a mom to two amazing humans and am lucky enough to live among the redwood trees in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I identify as a queer woman of color and invite folks of all backgrounds and walks of life to practice with me.
